Looking For Mold Inspection in Overland Park KS? Choose Certified Water & Mold!

Mold Inspection Overland Park KS - Certified Water & Mold Restoration LLC - October_2011_034_edited

Certified Water & Mold Restoration LLC is one of Angie's List Super Service award winners for mold remediation and testing services in Overland Park KS. While our primary goal is to ensure that your home or business is safe for its occupants, we make every effort to minimize demolition and therefore reconstruction costs. Air quality testing is available and recommended in some cases, but our staff will not test unnecessarily.

As an IICRC (The Cleantrust) Certified Firm, Certified Water & Mold Restoration LLC specializes in mold inspection, testing and removal to safely and effectively remediate mold spores and growth from building materials and personal possessions. If an untrained person attempts to remove mold within their work or home, they may cause thousands of mold spores to be released which can cause a much greater problem. This can lead to increased expense in the removal process and a far unhealthier environment in which to live and work.

Our professionals are certified and experienced in mold remediation projects ranging from entire structures to small and isolated areas. We use a balanced approach when recommending solutions to each situation. Occupant and worker safety is our primary concern, and yet we reasonably assess the scope of the problem to minimize remediation costs.

The Best Mold Inspection Company in Overland Park KS

Certified Water & Mold Restoration, LLC provides mold assessments ranging from visual inspection, to gathering air quality samples to be tested by an independent laboratory. There are many instances when a mold issue can be identified without the need to take initial surface or air samples. In these cases, we do not recommend unnecessary testing that would add cost to remediation efforts.

We also provide third-party clearance testing for other remediation contractors. A common sense approach is taken to analyzing results and providing an opinion.

Look For The Signs!

If any of the following conditions exist within your home or business, then you may need to consider a mold inspection:

  1. There are visible signs of water damage
  2. There is a "musty" smell in the home or structure
  3. The structure has experienced a roof or plumbing leak
  4. The structure has experienced a leaking basement
  5. The structure has experienced other water problems

Reviews:

"Very professional. Worked all night the first day to get water out of building. Had the necessary equiptment to do the job."

"My business with Certified Water and Mold was overall very pleasant. Initially Kent came out to do the air quality test. The purpose of the test was to see if and how bad of a mold problem existed. The test was completed on a Saturday and I had the results from the lab emailed to me that following Tuesday. Since the air test indicated a problem I contacted numerous mold remediation companies and ended up using a different one for the cleanup. After the project was completed Mike Martin with Certified Water and Mold came out to do the final inspection and found that the other mold remediation company had done a poor job removing mold leaving behind numerous untouched areas. I had the other remediation company out again to go over their work again and after 2hrs they left. Immediately after Mike and Kent came back to do another clearance inspection. They pointed out areas that again were untouched and still had visible mold. Without me requesting they sealed up my basement, and finished the work themselves. After about 2hrs they opened it up and had me come down to show me what a job done right looked like. I was very impressed with their willingness to help me get the project completed even after having a competing company initially called to do the work. I was not charged to have the touch up work done, they were more concerned about getting all of the remaining mold cleaned up properly. Because of this I was compelled to share my story here on Angie's List. I highly recommend Certified Water and Mold. Because I left a review for Certified it is only fair that I leave a review for the other company as well."

div>"We had a leak in the kitchen & water had soaked everything under the sink, the insulation, drywall & under the kitchen vinyl. After repairs were made, we had Certified Watrer & Mold Restoration out. I had seen their ad on the internet & that they had great reviews & were on Angie's List. Everything I had read was true & even better. They were very responsive, helpful, informative & timely. They made a bad situation the best it could be. They did the demo & dried everything up with fans & a dehumidifier & put up plastic to keep the debris & heat in the kitchen. Restoration was just as efficient - if I could rate higher than 5 I would."
